Yoga Lead

This is an OG position for a certain type of Rockstar. Your role here will be to be the “teacher” of SmartMat. Though thousands of hours of machine learning, we have made what we think is a “darn good” engine that can recognize and correct Asana for the user on the mat. This of course is not always correct and your job will be to “know when SmartMat is wrong” and work with our engineering staff to help pinpoint where the error is and assign the corrections.

The correct applicant will be a committed Yoga Professional with at least 5 years of experience teaching Yoga/Asana who has a deep knowledge of anatomy and various styles of yoga including Iyengar and Ashtanga. This is long term committed work that is just as much data analysis an input and troubleshooting as it is actual time on the mat.

You will also be in charge of fostering along with our Product Lead and Engineering staff the Yogi of the Day. We have a new Yogi of different skill level and body type come daily into our Bangkok SmartStudio where we are measuring their practice and making sure that SmartMat is giving accurate corrections.

Lastly – as SmartMat grows we will be bring many teachers into the SmartStudio to sequence and record their own classes, but in the early days you will also be asked to be the primary class sequencer for our ongoing content library.
